Every summer this historic building is home to the Barracks Fine Craft Shops and hosts an eclectic selection of artists works, making it one of the best spots in town to pick up handmade, unique gifts. Delta Fredericton

Every once in a while, you need an escape right in your own hometown. My husband recently had a playdate with his brother, and as much as I ordinarily appreciate both video games and beer, it seemed wise for our 4 year old daughter and I to vacate the premises for the evening (more fun for everyone that way). So, we accepted the Delta’s offer to come check out their facilities for ourselves.

Now, I’m quite familiar with the Delta. It’s a lovely hotel, and hosts a lot of interesting events (the Fredericton Beer Run, and a great Mother’s Day buffet, to name just a couple). But I’ve never stayed there, so this seemed like a good chance to check out the hotel from a new viewpoint.
